Location: Thompson Bay, Rottnest Island, Perth, WA

Partner: Capture the Light Photographic Tours

Join us on Wadjemeup (Rottnest Island) for a full day workshop on this an amazing A class reserve with pristine waters, amazing flora and fauna. Our day will be spent exploring the island, visiting many of the bays and attraction that the island has to offer using the Island Hop on Hop off bus.

Perth's playground, Rottnest gives us opportunities to practice many photographic techniques such as landscape, seascape, quokka portraits, birds and much more.

We will include the hop on hop off bus, afternoon tea and photographic input from Anna-Mair Francis. You will need to bring your own picnic lunch and water. Our start and finish times vary from season to season due to the variation in ferry and bus times but we hope to catch the Island bus which departs around 9.30am and finish around 3.30/4pm. If you are interested in a date not shown, please get in contact as we may be able to accommodate you on a different day.

All levels of photographer and all makes of camera are welcome. Non photographers (someone attending with no camera) are welcome to accompany the photographer and enjoy a slower paced tour. The price of the hop on/hop off bus is included.

We are happy for children over the age of 11-16 who have a photographic interest to join our tours when accompanied with a paying adult but a child who isn't interested in photography would not enjoy our itinerary. If you have younger children with a photographic interest then please contact us to discuss a private tour for your family.

Anna-Mair Francis is a professional fine art photographer having held several successful exhibitions which were held in high regard with many positive reviews. She has images displayed all over the world. She is a very successful teacher having had many of her former pupils going on to achieve awards and be highly respected photographers in there own right. She is highly regarded by the people she has taught and the methods she uses to teach them photography. She is very patient and understanding and works on the philosophy that there is no such thing as a silly question.

Please note we need a minimum of 2 people for the tour to run for the group tour although a private tour can be booked for 1 person if preferred.
